For as long as we can remember, we have wanted to be in a business together. As mother and daughter, there were many ideas that we tossed around and eight years ago we started BabyCakes Photography by Jennie Murphy. In August of 2004, we decided to add another piece to our business called "Bags by BabyCakes". Knowing that our customers always carry their children and grandchildren in their hearts, we thought what better way to share the feeling than by putting their images on a purse! Inspired by the beautiful photos of Gabi and Sophia, Jennie's children and my grandchildren, and because of the enthusiasm of our customers and friends, "Bags by BabyCakes" was born!
This year we made a pivotal decision to sell our products wholesale through our photography partners. The locations of these partners are listed in our "Find a Photographer" directory. These are all professional award winning photographers that are part of our team. When you visit our directory, you will see that in some listings it says "this photographer will work with your own image". That means you can submit your own favorite image to this photographer and they will work with you to design your bag. Other photographers in our directory prefer that you visit them in person so that they can shoot the best picture for your bag.
If you want your own image on your bag, please contact one of our partners that states they will do so. Remember, everything is done electronically with jpegs so whoever you choose does not have to be in the same city or state that you are in. If you cannot find a photographer on our list to assist you with your own image to design your bag , email us at bagsbybabycakes@rushpost.com and we will assist you in getting the bag you want!
Visit our boutique, find a bag you "have to have". All the leather and fabric options are there for you to see! Then email one of our "Star Partners" and they will guide you in designing a bag that will be "a one of a kind" masterpiece!
